Estas semillas benefician de remojo en agua tibia durante la noche para incrementar la tasa de germinación. En Europa Central las primeras siembras al aire libre se pueden efectuar en marzo. Siembra directa al aire libre a 2-3 cm de profundidad en el suelo. Prefiere suelos sueltos y ricos en nutrientes.
