Exotic Basil Varieties - Seed kit

Presumably, the wild-forms originate from tropical areas of India and Africa. The plant also loves warm, sunny and windless locations.

This seed set contains 3 Asian basil varieties with exotic aroma typical for Asian and Indian cuisine:

• Thai basil (Ocimum basilicum)
  A type of basil that smells of anise and tastes slightly tangier and spicier. Very typical aroma in Thai noodle soups
• Tulsi / Holy basil (Ocimum sanctum / tenuiflorum)
  The leaves are used to make a healing tea, which is used especially for all weaknesses in the digestive tract, to protect the immune system, against stress, for internal heat treatment and to lower cholesterol levels.
• Lemon basil (Ocimum americanum)
  Asian basil variety with lemony aroma.

The seeds of each variety are packaged in a separate sachet.

Seeding & Care:
Pre-culture from mid-March indoors or directly outdoors from mid-May. Basil is a light germinator. The seeds should therefore only be sprinkled on the damp soil and pressed on slightly. Be careful, because snails also love this great herb.
