Cabbages want to be brought forward so that they have a little head start in May when they can move outdoors, and many cold-tolerant vegetables can be sown outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked.

This sowing kit contains organic seeds for the following crops:

• Yellow Tomato 'Golden Queen' (Organic) (Solanum lycopersicum)
  The yellow tomato variety 'Golden Queen' has been cultivated since about 1870. It produces many yellow fruits with a very mild, rather sweet taste and little acidity.
• Tomato 'Zuckertraube' (Solanum lycopersicum)
  Also known under the name "Mexican honey tomato". Very robust, vigorous and productive red cocktail tomato.
• White Kohlrabi 'Superschmelz' (Organic) (Brassica oleracea)
  Proven white kohlrabi variety, which becomes very large and nevertheless remains tender. The tubers can easily weigh 3-4 kg without lignifying.
• Purple Salsify (Organic) (Tragopogon porrifolius)
  Purple or white salsify is a tasty root vegetable. The plant is closely related to the black salsify, but the roots have a light-coloured edible peel.
• Red Cabbage 'Rodynda' (Organic) (Brassica oleracea)
  A sweet and aromatic red cabbage variety from bio-dynamic cultivation. Perfectly suitable for the raw consumption.
• Green Orache (Organic) (Atriplex hortensis)
  Green orach is also one of the rediscovered ancient vegetable rarities. Their leaves can be picked and prepared like spinach and taste delicious raw as salad, steamed or sautéed.
• Radish 'French Breakfast' (Organic) (Raphanus sativus)
  'French Breakfast' is an old French radish variety, with highly decorative, two-tone white and red crops, which have a rather elongated shape.
