A Californian Flower Spectacle with Nostalgic Charm
The 'Ballerina Mix' is a special cultivar of the California poppy (Eschscholzia californica), featuring double, delicately ruffled blooms in soft pastel shades of pink, apricot, yellow, white and orange. The flowers resemble ballerinas’ tulle skirts and lend a romantic touch to any garden. Originally native to California, the poppy was designated the state flower in 1903 and has since symbolised the Golden State’s floral splendour. The 'Ballerina Mix' is ideal for wildlife-friendly borders, rockeries, edging and balcony boxes. It attracts bees and butterflies, and is exceptionally easy to care for and drought-tolerant.
